A huge thanks to PayPlus for all the hard work in helping us build the WeChat pay system and Official WeChat Account application, which is a key stepping stone to breaking into the China market. Furthermore, our first Chinese Influencer campaign alongside PayPlus was a huge success and a core part of our strategy to target the younger, Chinese FIT market.

WeChat Pay is really simple to process and confirm a successful transaction, and payment into its bank account is usually the next day. Our team are impressed by how easy WeChat Pay is to use so are keen to offer it as an option to Chinese customers; the accompanying point of sale material is easy for WeChat users to recognise. “Simon and the PayPlus team are very helpful and easy to deal with. We had a small group from China arrive yesterday afternoon. They spoke little English and were having trouble with the check in process. However, when I showed the signage it was instantly recognised and they simply asked how much the room was. A quick ‘point and click’ with the smart phone and we were all happy! This was confirmed this morning with the daily update sheet showing our first payment has been received. Thank you PayPlus for a seamless transaction that could not have been more simple to use.

Our Chinese customers are generally quite surprised that we accept WeChat and one lady recently was so delighted she jumped up and down clapping her hands! PayPlus have been fantastic with any support required but to be fair it is such a simple user friendly system that very little support is needed. If you are to start using WeChat I would highly recommend that you place the promotional material in as prominent a position as possible so that customers are aware of this option before paying with other methods. I would highly recommend using WeChat if you have Chinese clients.
